History does not only allow us to know where we came from but also, following the meaning of the video, makes us feel better. History makes us acknowledge that people over centuries have suffered and experience similar situations because, at the end, history tends to repeat itself. 
And hey, years ago, I would be in jail for expressing my point of view as a woman!
